1 Week 1 Post Challenge

Digital marketing is a trend in the 21st century, we apply digital media data and technology such as the internet to achieve our marketing objectives. Strong copywriting could lead to commercial success by attracting the customers to explore the product/service and create desire.

To be a successful copywriter, other than mastering the language skill, he or she needs to know how to use an attractive way to communicate with the audience. It not only depends on good grammar but the creativity of the copywriter as well. 

I’m teaching Creating and Implementing Marketing Campaigns in this semester. Blogging is one of the assessment criteria. Instead of learning from the book, it would be better to do it practically. As such, I started a challenge together with my students. We, students and I, will take up a challenge, to build our blog and complete the objectives below.

  • to achieve 50 followers by the end of the semester, 15/6/2021
  • to achieve at least 7 posts by the end of the semester, 15/6/2021 ( 4 posts, your assignment answer; 2 posts (any topic) related to your theme, 1 post to introduce a service/product that is related to your theme)
  • to achieve at least 25 "likes" for each post (except your assignment answer)

This is not the first time I’m writing a blog. I started to write my blogs (in Chinese) in 2007. I have 2 blogs, 阿诗足迹  and 書。語, both in Chinese. But, this is my first English blog.  

I have stopped writing for years. It's time for me to "restart" my blogging life, taking this chance to build up my English writing skills. I feel motivated to work together with the students. Instead of becoming just the students' homework, it is now OUR homework. I hope that we can achieve the objectives and start to improve our writing and creativity skills.
